Time is flying and we are through February already! Cor Deo is going really well. We have a great group of men this year and are so thankful for the privilege of responding to God together in our studies. Ron was able to visit Huw from team 2011 earlier this month, taking along Jon and Rob – they had a great time. Peter has been busy with a new daughter, born on the 1st of February, and is enjoying being a new father again to little Kaylah.
If you are within reach of Chippenham, we’d love to see you for these three Wednesday evenings in March (7, 14, 21) when we’ll be looking into the Bible and history to get a taste of how good our God is! (Click the flyer for more info.)
Team 2013? Even though we are focused on the programme in 2012, it is not too early for folks to be considering 2013. Do you know anyone who might be a potential participant in the full-time programme in 2013? Two of this year’s team were given unpaid leave from work to take part. Perhaps you know of someone graduating this summer who might be interested, or someone looking to take a study sabbatical from ministry overseas or in a church, or someone who has been considering getting training in Bible, theology, etc.? We rely strongly on word of mouth to see the team come together, so please pray with us for next year’s team and spread the word to any who might be a fit.
Cor Deo in the USA? From July 23-27, Ron and Peter will be running a Cor Deo Intensive entitled “A Relational Faith” in Portland, OR. To find out more and to register for a place, please email info@cordeo.org.uk
Dates for the diary:
28th April – Delighted by God, London. This year’s theme is “Glorious Gospel” and we are really excited to be joined up front by Glen Scrivener for the day. Glen has a heart for Christ and a passion to see Christians applying the gospel to their own lives as well as to the lost around them!
10th May – Bristol. An evening event in Bristol for both CU’s and open to all, let’s join together to celebrate the gospel and pray for the gospel work among students!
