All are welcome to Cor Deo events!
Join the mentors for a five day exposure to Cor Deo training. Starting on Monday, and ending mid-Friday, we will have five days of intensive study and fellowship together. This opportunity is ideal for those who would like to get a taste of Cor Deo’s ministry, but can’t join the full-time team. Together we will enjoy hearing God’s heart in His Word, engaging in enlightening study of church history, considering the applicational aspects of serving others in a relational faith, and thinking about spiritual formation if Christianity is centred on relationship with God.
Intensives are held in Chippenham. We start each day at 9.30 and end at 4:30. Local accommodation options can be discussed for those travelling from a distance.
We have room for up to 18 men & women. To register your interest in participating, or if you have any questions, please contact us.
Tuesday August 16th – Friday August 19th: ‘Relational Faith’
In this week together we will explore the wonder of the Gospel, and what it looks like to be a Christian. What are the basic contours of Christianity – not only in terms of what we believe, but also in respect to versions presented to us. How can we enjoy a vibrant relationship with God today? One week together, but a lifetime of implications to explore and enjoy. We have reserved some spaces for teachers and students. This week has a suggested donation of £150, including lunch each day.
If you are interested in joining us for this Intensive please contact us.
Throughout the year we will offer one or two-day ‘Focus Seminars.’ These are part of the ‘Cor Deo Plus’ program but are open to all. The seminars will be on a variety of subjects, such as history and Bible, with pre-reading and an optional post-seminar assessment. We suggest a donation of £30 per person, which includes lunch.
