Thank you for reading this latest update from Cor Deo and praying for us – it means so much!
International Training Consultation
I am writing this update from Emmaus Bible College in Iowa. I am here with people leading various training programmes and institutions around the world. It is encouraging and helpful to share different perspectives and ideas.
It is great to sense the enthusiasm for Cor Deo among folks here. It’s perhaps even more encouraging to hear discussions about the important, but often difficult challenges that all the programmes seem to be facing. How can people receive quality content, true integration of study with ministry, with a deep emphasis on spirituality and devotion, as well as genuine mentoring relationships between instructors and students? . . . this is encouraging to me because these are all distinctive elements of the Cor Deo programme!
Discover Cor Deo
Ron and I were able to meet up last week in a Portland café where we enjoyed a few hours of fellowship and planning together. We are very much looking forward to Discover Cor Deo coming up on the first Saturday of July. So it is the 3rd of July, from 10:30am to 3:30pm with lunch provided, in an easily accessible central London church.
This is a great opportunity for people to find out more about Cor Deo, meet the mentoring team, get questions answered and get a taste of the content and ethos of the programme. Please forward the link to the website, along with an encouragement to attend, to any who you think might be candidates to join us.
Prayer and Praise
- Praise the Lord that the location for Cor Deo has been finalised – He has answered prayer and we will give more information next time!
- Praise the Lord for bringing a great addition to the board of trustees – more information on that one soon, too!
- Please pray for our application with the Charities’ Commission to satisfy their requirements.
- Please pray for God to bring together the team for Cor Deo in 2011, and for the right people to come to Discover Cor Deo on the 3rd of July. We are actively seeking the participants for 2011, but it is the Lord who will bring the team together!
Thank you for standing with us in prayer and for helping to get the word out about Cor Deo!
For the team,
Peter

Support from the US – please contact us for information as we now have a tax efficient way to give to Cor Deo.
(The mentors do not receive a salary from Cor Deo, for information on how to give to their personal support, please ask specifically.)
