The summer is quickly sliding by and we will soon be into September. We hope that this summer has been a time of refreshing for you. At the end of July we enjoyed a great two-day Youth Mini-Intensive. It was fun to wrestle with the biggest four questions together with a group who seemed to grasp what we discussed concerning God, humanity, sin and grace – the building blocks of theology and worldview!
There is plenty coming up in the next months, please get in touch if you’d like to reserve a place at any of these:
Preacher’s Intensive – 11-15th Nov, 2013. Peter, Huw Williams and David Searight will be leading a special Cor Deo Intensive for preachers in November. We will meet from Monday through Friday. For more information, please go to the Events page on the website and please contact us if you have any questions or would like to reserve a place. (Please note: spaces are limited and this Intensive is reserved for those who are involved in some sort of preaching ministry.)
Church History Mini-Intensive: Luther and the Bible – 22-23rd November, 2013. We know how Luther struggled in his early monastic days. Staupitz, as a remedy, sent Luther off to study the Bible. Luther’s role in the Reformation grew out of that study. In our two-days together we will look at Luther’s use of the Bible in his Heidelberg Disputation, in his commentary on Galatians, and his use of the book of Romans. It was the fuel for the Reformation. This Mini-Intensive will be led by Ron, Peter and David. There is more information on the Events page on the website and please contact us if you have any questions or would like to reserve a place.
Intensive – A Relational Faith. We have a normal Intensive coming up in January 2014, please email for more information.
Enjoying our good God together,
Peter for the team
