Update #41 – May 2013

Intensive May 2013This month started with our sixth Cor Deo Intensive.  This time we enjoyed the book of Ephesians together, falling in love with God’s plan for the church, the bride of His Son.

We are into the final quarter of this year’s full-time programme and before we know it the season will be over.  Please join us as we start to pray for God to bring together the team for 2014 (and nudge people in our direction if you think there might be a fit!)

This weekend many of us are heading to Poland, although not to the same place.  Ron is visiting a church in Piotrkow, an annual destination to minister to the church there.  He will be returning on Monday and would value your prayers.  Peter is heading to Wisla, the new venue for the annual European Leadership Forum.  He will be joined by Matt, Luca and David D, as well as Huw Williams from Cor Deo 2011.  Peter and Huw will be leading the Bible Teachers Network at the Forum.  This is a big responsibility and will mean a tiring week of teaching and presenting.  Please pray for all the men going to the Forum to have a valuable time, and for Peter/Huw to lead the network effectively.

The men left behind at Cor Deo will be enjoying a two-day Puritan seminar with Ron and David Searight.

Here are a couple of dates for your diary and for your prayers:

September Intensive – 9-13th Sep, 2013.  This Intensive has almost filled up already.  We will be announcing more Intensives before too long.  We do have a special interest one coming up in November:

Preacher’s Intensive – 11-15th Nov, 2013.  Peter, Huw Williams and David Searight will be leading a special Cor Deo Intensive for preachers in November.  We will meet from Monday through Friday.  For more information, please go to the Events page on the website and please contact us if you have any questions or would like to reserve a place.  (Please note: spaces are limited and this Intensive is reserved for those who are involved in some sort of preaching ministry.)

We are encouraged, but very much in need of prayer for wisdom and discernment in these days.  Thank you for standing with us in prayer as we seek to multiply ministry that shares God’s heart!

Peter & Ron, for the team
