These last weeks have been busy times of ministry . . . church weekends, training days with UCCF folks, CU meetings, conferences and overseas training seminars, etc. It is a privilege to be involved in all this and we are looking forward to sharing the blessing of such diverse ministry involvement with others through Cor Deo!
Participants
We have been encouraged with several answers to prayer in recent weeks. While practical and financial aspects of ministry planning are vital, the greatest joy comes through relationships. We are starting to see the first group of participants taking shape. Please pray with us for the people God wants to be a part of Cor Deo in 2011. Our desire is to have a team of 8-9 participants coming together next February, but only God can move in hearts to bring this about.
Exploring Cor Deo Day
We will be having a gathering in early July for people interested in Cor Deo! This will be a time to meet the mentors, to be exposed to Cor Deo, to get questions answered and also to enjoy some Cor Deo input too. As soon as the venue is confirmed we will follow up with an update . . . so watch this space!
Please pray with us
- for the “Exploring Cor Deo” day in July.
- for Cor Deo’s application to the Charities’ Commission to be successful.
- for the ministries of all involved in the project over the next few weeks.
- for God to bring together the right combination of people for 2011!
Thank you for standing with us in prayer. Please spread the word about Cor Deo to any who may be interested in participating, or partnering with us in prayer.
Warmly,
Peter for the team
