This site has just had a slight facelift and is gearing up for the new Cor Deo blog. Today we have stocked the shelves with a few posts from Peter and Ron’s blogs (just so we don’t have an empty blog on here!) Starting very soon we will have “conversation starter” posts on here. These conversation starters should do just that – start conversations. Ron and Peter will alternate who writes the starter post, but then the conversation can continue via the comments on the site. Join in the conversation with the Cor Deo mentors. Bible, theology, church history, pastoral ministry, local church, preaching, missions, God, Jesus, Trinity, spiritual growth, prayer . . . it should be good for us all!
And to help people know when the posts appear, we’ll be letting folks know via www.facebook.com/cordeo, www.twitter.com/cordeoblog and if you use NetworkedBlogs on facebook, why not follow the blog on there too?
Join the conversation – you’re always welcome!
It is great to see this blog and I am really looking forward to everyone contributing and seeing what people have to say and what God is doing in their lives.
I am sure the word ‘Mentoring’ excites the hearts of most Christian men who have a heart to serve God but just don’t feel they are getting the instruction and guidance they need and lack the confidence in how to live out Gods word in a practical way.
For any that will do CORDEO I am sure they will experience the excitement lived out and for those that don’t, the fact that they will be able to read about it as it is worked out in others lives and then maybe carry the principals over into their own churches and lives, will be as exciting and encouraging if not more so.
I can see little point in anything that is not contributing in some way to the building up of souls in Gods church and I see the whole fullfillment of mans soul in carrying this task out and all this to the Glory of God.

Very excited to see this ministry up and running; it is a great concept, and I think “should be” the wave of the future in training for ministry.
Exciting stuff . . .

Peter & I just met today, anticipating our July 3 gathering. We look forward to the time with pleasure in God’s providence. And thanks, Bobby & Alan, for helping us start the conversation here on our expanded website . Thanks, too, for your care & prayers!
