Update #16 – Mini-Update (Mar 2011)

We are into week three of Cor Deo.  The team seem to be very comfortable with one another and we are very encouraged.  Last week Chris and Mike established a great connection with Bath Uni CU during their missions week and will continue to be involved there whenever possible.  Last weekend I (Peter) was joined by Huw and Sam in central Italy for a young adults missions conference.  It was very encouraging to see 200 people coming from all over the nation, and from all denominations, to the conference.  My theme was “His Passion, Our Passion” and I spoke primarily from Matthew’s gospel, as well as Jonah.  Please pray for these people to follow through in the coming months with a delighted outpouring of God’s passion for the nations!

Yesterday at Cor Deo we studied Genesis in the morning, followed by some significant church history in the afternoon.  Today we will be in John 2-3, Leviticus and discussing the question of the week (looking forward to seeing what question gets in there first today).

This weekend Ron will be joined by Alan, Mike and Jonathan for a long road trip up to Leeds where Ron is the main speaker at a key church missions event focusing on ministries in the UK.  Please pray for this event to be really used of God to bless all the ministries represented, and to make a real difference in this increasingly needy nation!

For the team,

Peter
