Thanks Ron for the magnet parable! GOD’s Word does not return void, and it does exactly what you stated, draws the true believer and often repels the unbeliever. What I find even more disheartening is that we have one Jesus, one Spirit, one Word of GOD and yet hundreds of denominations who seem quite content worshipping Jesus in isolation of one another. In my understanding there is believer and unbeliever, then a bunch of doctrinal differences in each of those camps, but still, just two camps. Thanks again for your teachings, I always enjoy them and gain something, even when sitting in your class at Multnomah many years ago. You have been one of the strongest influences on my Christian faith, praise be to GOD. May the joy of the LORD continue to be your strength and His gladness continue to radiate in your spirit.

Thanks very much for this, Ron. As you’ve mentioned before, if we don’t long for more of Christ and His Word, the problem is always about whom we really love. It’s so sad to see how much of a lack of love there is in the Church for Christ and His Word, and for others. May we be ones who reflect the magnet of His love so that others are drawn to Him!
